BYOV was born from the journeys of two friends who shared one simple belief —India is best experienced on the road, not from a screen.
Both of us grew up chasing horizons: one loved getting lost in the mountains, the other found freedom on endless highways. But every time we planned big road adventures, we saw the same problem — most people wanted to explore India end-to-end, but hesitated to go alone. Unfamiliar terrains, long distances, uncertain stops, and the fear of “what if something goes wrong?” kept many dreamers from starting.
So during one of our own cross-country drive, over late-night tea and a dusty map spread across the bonnet, we made a decision.
If people can’t find a safe and supported way to travel India, we’ll build one. Together.
That’s how BYOV – Bring Your Own Vehicle was created.
What started as two friends helping fellow riders slowly grew into a support crew for road wanderers across the country. Today, BYOV guides travellers through mountains, deserts, coastlines and hidden corners of India — offering stay, food, backup vehicles, technical help, and the comfort of not riding or driving alone.
But at its core, BYOV is still the same dream we began with:
